Here are a handful of nifty links to some of our pals and associates.
We love Sonicbids and all of the great things that they do to help bands, and their community connect.
Pete Weiss- Founder of Zippah who has gained an international reputation as a cult producer, artist, writer, and taco enthusiast. After re-locating to VT. Pete has built a beautiful studio that he calls "Verdant" . Pete still does sessions at Zippah from time to time and we still consider him family here.
Brian Charles- Co-owner of Zippah from 1995-2004, (now sole owner). Brian's production and engineering skills are in high demand. He's also a pop songwriter extraordinaire. You can (and should) buy his CD, "Sadderdaydreaming."
Peter Linnane- An unsung hero of audio engineering, songwriting, and musicianship. Peter has been an engineer at Zippah since 1998. In the spring of 2002 he and his wife Sam released a beautiful pop album called "The Shady Tree."
John Clarke- John's brilliant paintings and illustrations have been delighting, confusing, and amusing the general public for more than ten years. A number of his paintings grace the walls of Zippah and are all for sale ("Unstill Life" excepted!)
Not Lame Recordings - An online guitar pop junkie's "virtual" record store heaven
Rock School- Break out your notebooks, fire up Shockwave, and listen up, 'cuz there's valuable rock-related stuff to be learned here.
Sonic Circus- Fantastic vintage gear dealer. Brian moonlights there.
Stereorrific Recordings- Mod-pop-weird-fun indy label. Pete has a bunch of projects on Stereorrific.
TapeOp Magazine- Portland, Oregon-based recording magazine. Pete is a frequent contributor. Not too techy, but not dumbed-down; free subscriptions.
